Terms of Use

These terms apply to the NurseTools iPhone and Apple Watch apps and to nursetools.app. NurseTools is made by Pondoro and sold on the App Store by Sebastian Gonzales ("we"). By using NurseTools you agree to these terms. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.
Educational use only
NurseTools is an educational and personal organization app. It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, recommend treatment or calculate medication doses for patient care, and it does not replace clinical judgment, provider orders, your facility's policies or your scope of practice. Check every result against those sources before you rely on it.
No patient information
Do not enter patient names, record numbers, room or bed numbers, dates of birth, diagnoses or any other information that could identify a patient. NurseTools is not designed to store protected health information.
Your facility comes first
Follow your employer's rules on personal devices and apps at work. If a policy does not allow NurseTools, do not use it there.
Content and locked tools
Each tool shows its sources, version and review date. Tools that have not passed their release checks stay locked, and no payment or setting unlocks them. Content can change or be removed as sources are updated.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the apps or our server, try to access other people's data, interfere with the service, or copy and resell NurseTools content.
Ownership
NurseTools, its content and its design belong to Pondoro. NurseTools™ is a trademark of Pondoro. Sources cited in the app belong to their owners.
No warranty
NurseTools is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pondoro is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for decisions made using the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for NurseTools in the 12 months before the claim, or US$50 if you paid nothing.
Changes and ending use
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to use NurseTools means you accept it. You can stop using NurseTools at any time by deleting the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Fresno County, California, unless the law where you live gives you a different right.
